200-480 V soft starter with multi-protocol fieldbus
The 3RW5226-1AC14: It's built for motor starting duty where controlled acceleration and deceleration are needed, with trip classes CLASS 10A (default), 10E, or 20E per IEC 60947-4-2. The unit ships with onboard PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET — so it drops into most common fieldbus architectures without an extra gateway. PROFIenergy support is available when paired with the PROFINET communication module.
Trip class and thermal derating at 40 °C+
Trip class is selectable between CLASS 10A, 10E, and 20E — this governs how long the starter can carry locked-rotor current before tripping.
Mounting and clearance for screw-fixed panels
Fastening is by screw fixing, not DIN-rail snap-on — plan for four mounting points in the panel layout. The unit measures 185 mm wide, 306 mm high, and 203 mm deep, and requires minimum clearances: 100 mm above, 10 mm in front, 75 mm below, 5 mm at the sides, and 0 mm behind. Mounting position allows vertical surface with ±90° rotation and ±22.5° tilt forward/back — useful for tight cabinets where the starter can't sit perfectly upright.
Approvals include UL, CSA, and CE marking — covers North American and European installations. Compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH) is available with the shipment.
