The 3RW5226-3TC14 is a SIRIUS hybrid soft starter rated for motor loads between 32 A minimum and the full-load current you set within the 200-480 VAC range. The trip class defaults to CLASS 10A per IEC 60947-4-2. The unit ships with screw fixing for panel mounting. It measures 306 mm tall by 185 mm wide by 203 mm deep, so plan your enclosure backplate real estate accordingly. Fieldbus support is broad: PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP are all on the table. That means it drops into most control architectures without a gateway — handy when you're retrofitting a line and the PLC room already speaks one of those protocols.
Approvals include UL, CSA, and CE marking, so it's accepted across North American and European panels without a separate certification chase. If your machine ships to a site that demands one of those marks, the nameplate already carries it.
That's forgiving for enclosures where the backplate isn't perfectly plumb. Minimum clearances around the unit: 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, 5 mm at the sides, 0 mm backwards. Stacking it tight against the back wall is fine, but give it breathing room above and below for convection. The soft starter includes Soft Torque and Pump Ramp Down features — useful for centrifugal pumps where you want to avoid pressure surges on start and water hammer on stop. It also supports auto-reset and remote reset by cycling the control supply voltage. An error logbook is available but only with special accessories. Firmware updates are supported, and PROFIenergy is functional when paired with the PROFINET communication module.
