Product details

The 3RW5235-2TC05 mounts via screw fixing onto a vertical surface, rotatable ±90° and tiltable ±22.5° front-to-back. Clearance requirements: 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, 5 mm at the sides, 0 mm backwards. The 306×185×203 mm envelope (H×W×D) fits standard 600 mm deep enclosures, but the 185 mm width means it occupies roughly three 50 mm DIN-rail mounting slots if you use an adapter plate — verify the backpanel layout before committing the cutout.

Trip class and motor protection

Trip Class 10A (default), 10E, or 20E per IEC 60947-4-2. The minimum settable current is 68 A, and the minimum load is 15 % of that value.

Fieldbus and control interface

Native support for PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET standard — no separate communication module needed for most networks. PROFIenergy is available when paired with the PROFINET communication module. The control supply is 24 V DC. Remote reset is possible by cycling the control supply voltage. There is no analog output and no torque control; this is a soft starter, not a VFD. The firmware is field-updatable.
