Clearance requirements: 100 mm above, 75 mm below, 10 mm forward, 5 mm to the side, and zero backward — plan your gland plate and busbar routing accordingly. Dimensions are 393 mm high, 210 mm wide, 203 mm deep — a substantial footprint; verify DIN-rail or backplate space before committing the panel layout.
Electrical ratings and trip class
Rated operating voltage 200–600 V AC, with a minimum settable current of 100 A — sized for medium motor loads in the 100 A range and above. Trip class is selectable: CLASS 10A (default), 10E, or 20E per IEC 60947-4-2. Class 10A protects standard induction motors during start; switch to 20E for high-inertia loads like centrifuges or long-ramp conveyors. Minimum load is 15 % of the smallest settable Ie — ensures the soft starter can handle lightly loaded motors without dropping out.
Communications and control
Onboard PROFIBUS DP, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP — no separate gateway needed for most plant-floor networks. PROFINET standard and PROFIenergy are supported when paired with the PROFINET communication module (ordered separately). Analog output is 4–20 mA (default) or 0–10 V (parameterizable via High Feature HMI). Remote reset cycles the control supply voltage off/on.
Environmental and approvals
Operating ambient –25 to +60 °C, with derating required above 40 °C — account for cabinet heat rise when sizing ventilation. Shock resistance 15 g / 11 ms (12 g / 11 ms with potential contact lifting). CE, UL, and CSA approvals cover European and North American installations.
