The 3RW5245-2AC14 is a SIRIUS soft starter with a default trip class of CLASS 10A per IEC 60947-4-2, with selectable 10E or 20E for heavier starting duty. Minimum settable current is 135 A, so this unit is sized for motor FLA down to that floor. Below 135 A you need a smaller frame in the 3RW52 family.

Fieldbus and control wiring

Communications stack is broad: PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET with PROFIenergy support — all onboard or via the standard communication module. That means it drops into most plant networks without a gateway. Analog output is configurable as 4-20 mA (default) or 0-10 V via the High Feature HMI parameterization. The remote reset is done by cycling the control supply voltage off then on — no separate reset terminal to wire.
