The Siemens 3RW5245-6AC05 is a SIRIUS hybrid switching device — a soft starter sized for a minimum motor current of 135 A on a 200 to 600 V supply. The trip class is selectable between CLASS 10A (default), 10E, or 20E per IEC 60947-4-2, meaning you can match the overload protection to the motor start profile: 10A for standard starts, 10E for extended ramp, 20E for high-inertia loads that need a longer acceleration window. It supports PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, and EtherNet/IP natively, plus PROFIenergy in conjunction with a PROFINET communication module. The analog output is configurable as 4-20 mA (default) or 0-10 V via the High Feature HMI.
