The Siemens 3RW5247-6TC15 is a SIRIUS series hybrid switching device — a soft starter rated for a minimum operating current of 200 A across a 200-600 V supply range.
Panel fit and mounting constraints
The unit measures 393 mm high by 210 mm wide by 203 mm deep, with screw fixing to a vertical mounting surface. Clearance requirements: 100 mm upwards, 75 mm downwards, 10 mm forwards, 5 mm sideways, and 0 mm backwards — the back can sit flush against the panel backplate.
Fieldbus and control integration
Built-in fieldbus support covers PROFIBUS, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and PROFINET standard, plus PROFIenergy in conjunction with the PROFINET communication module. Soft torque and pump ramp down are supported — useful for reducing pressure surges in fluid handling applications.
