Safety communication runs over ASIsafe via the M12 plug (4-pole: pin 1 = ASI+, pin 3 = ASI-). The slave profile is 0.B.F, and the ID1 code is set to F (hex, variable 0…F) — this is the address the AS-i master sees when commissioning the safety monitor. No separate power supply needed beyond the AS-i bus; the 24 V LED draws from the same line.
