It carries a 2600 N locking force, meaning the actuator holds the guard door shut against that much force before the switch can be forced open — critical for preventing access to a hazard zone while energy is present. The switch integrates ASIsafe on a fixed M12, 4-pole connector (pin 1 = ASI+, pin 3 = ASI-), so it drops directly onto an AS-Interface safety network without a separate junction box.
Metal enclosure rated IP65/IP67, so the switch body and the M12 connection survive washdown environments and direct hose spray — suitable for food-and-bev or machining lines. Screw fixing, any mounting position. The positive-opening switching function means the NC contacts are mechanically forced open when the actuator leaves the switch head, even if the contacts weld — this is the behavior a safety circuit relies on for a category 3 or 4 stop per ISO 13849.
