The Siemens 3SF5500-0CC is an AS-i slave module packing 4 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs into a 22.1 mm wide metal housing rated IP20. It's designed for enclosure mounting — think control cabinet, not the machine frame — and carries a floor-mounting fastening method. The metal body handles the heat and mechanical abuse a plastic module might not, which matters when this sits near contactors or drives inside a panel. No derating drama at the top end for standard use.
