The Siemens 3SF5816-2DA00 is an AS-Interface emergency stop station in a metal enclosure with IP67 protection, meaning it withstands washdown environments and outdoor exposure on conveyor lines, packaging machines, or material-handling cells. It carries both EMERGENCY OFF and EMERGENCY STOP functions, with a rotate-to-unlatch mechanism that requires a deliberate twist to reset after activation — no accidental re-energisation. Six command points are arranged on the rectangular front: illuminated pushbuttons, a knob, a standard pushbutton, an emergency-stop mushroom pushbutton, and a dummy plug.
