What it is and where it fits
The Siemens 3SF5900-0CJ is a connection element designed to route a round cable into an AS-i enclosure — plastic or metal, with 1 to 3 control points, terminated at M20. It mounts directly to the enclosure wall (direct mounting, no DIN rail). IP67 sealing means the cable entry stays protected in washdown or outdoor environments; the operating range of -25 to +70 °C covers most industrial floor conditions. This is the part that bridges the field cable to the AS-i bus node inside the enclosure.
