Integrated motor management with web server
The 3UF7011-1AB00-2 is a Siemens PLC Communication Module that functions as a control unit for motor feeders, combining digital inputs, relay output, direct and reverse starting logic, current detection, and bus communication in a single 45 mm wide housing. It includes a built-in web server for remote monitoring and parameter access over the plant network, eliminating the need for a separate HMI or gateway for basic status checks. Rated for 24 V control supply, the module delivers 6 A continuous at 50 °C and derates to 5 A at 60 °C, which sets the thermal budget for the connected load side.
Clearance above and below the module is 40 mm each side for wiring and heat dissipation; no side clearance is required (0 mm left/right), allowing dense side-by-side packing on the rail.
Environmental limits and altitude derating
Rated for operation up to 2 000 m without derating; at 3 000 m the ambient must not exceed +50 °C, and at 4 000 m the limit drops to +40 °C, with no protective separation required at these altitudes. Storage and transport temperature range is -40 to +80 °C, with operational humidity from 5 to 95 % non-condensing.
