What it is and where it lands
The Siemens 3UF7011-1AU00-0 is a SIMOCODE motor management control unit — the brains of a smart motor feeder. It sits between your PLC and the motor starter, handling overload protection, direct starting, valve or slide control, and relaying status back over a built-in web server. No need for a separate HMI for basic diagnostics; point a browser at its IP address. Mounts on DIN rail via screw and snap-on — 45 mm wide, 111 mm tall, 124 mm deep. The screw terminals accept one solid wire up to 4 mm² or two up to 2.5 mm², which is typical for control wiring in a motor control center. No special footprint; it'll drop into the same slot as an older SIMOCODE or a conventional overload relay.
