What this control unit does on the line
The Siemens 3UF7011-1AU00-2 is a SIMOCODE pro V motor management control unit — the brains that sits between your PLC and the motor starter, handling overload protection, current monitoring, and direct start commands. It runs on a 110... 240 V rated supply (50/60 Hz) and brings four digital inputs and one relay output to the cabinet, so you can wire start/stop and feedback without a separate IO block.
Current ratings and relay output limits
The relay output is rated 2 A at 24 V, 0.55 A at 60 V, and 6 A at 120 V — but the 6 A figure applies at 50 °C; at 60 °C it drops to 5 A. For 230 V AC switching the rating is 3 A. That 1 A difference between 50 and 60 °C matters if this unit lives next to a warm drive or transformer in the panel.
Mounts via screw and snap-on to DIN rail — 45 mm wide, 111 mm tall, 124 mm deep. The top clearance needs 40 mm, bottom 40 mm, left and right 0 mm, so it packs tight against adjacent devices.
