Active motor management for the panel builder
The Siemens 3UF7012-1AB00-0 is a SIMOCODE pro V control unit that combines 4 digital inputs, a relay output, and current detection in a single 45 mm-wide housing for screw and snap-on DIN-rail mounting. Rated control supply is 24 V, and the relay output handles 6 A at 120 V or 3 A at 230 V — enough for direct starting of small motors or valve control without an interposing contactor.
The 4 digital inputs and bus communication mean this unit integrates directly into a fieldbus network — no separate I/O slice needed for motor status feedback. Current detection gives you overload and phase-loss monitoring on the motor feeder.
