The Siemens SIRIUS 3UF7103-1AA00-0 is a current measuring module designed for overload protection in motor circuits. It detects and measures current on AC systems rated 110–690 V at 50/60 Hz and provides a Class 5E trip characteristic — a solid-state thermal memory that closely mirrors motor heating for accurate protection. The module occupies a DIN-rail footprint 120 mm wide, 95 mm tall, 145 mm deep, and requires 30 mm clearance above and below for ventilation and wiring access. It snaps onto the rail or can be screw-mounted, and the housing is IP20 rated for finger-safe operation inside control panels.
Operating range covers –25 to +60 °C; storage and transport extend to –40 to +80 °C. At altitudes above 2 000 m, derate ambient: 3 000 m at +50 °C, 4 000 m at +40 °C. Vibration resistance listed at 1–6 Hz / 15 mm and 6–500 Hz / 2 g — sufficient for compressor, pump, and fan duty. A 25 mm inlet opening accommodates standard cable glands. The module draws 0.2 W active power and includes both current measurement and overload protection; voltage, frequency, ground-fault, and power-factor monitoring are not built in.
