Current monitoring relay for 22.5 mm DIN-rail panels
The Siemens 3UG4622-1AW38-0AA5-Z X95 is a digital monitoring relay that continuously monitors current in a 0.15 to 2 A AC/DC range, with a supply voltage of 24 to 240 V AC/DC. It operates on the quiescent current principle — the relay drops out when the monitored current exceeds the set threshold plus the 0.16 A hysteresis, providing fail-safe detection of overcurrent or undercurrent conditions. The 22.5 mm housing fits standard DIN-rail terminal blocks, saving panel space for multi-circuit monitoring. The relay includes an ON delay of 0.1 s and an OFF delay of 2 s, which filters out transient spikes and prevents nuisance tripping on motor inrush or short-duration load changes.
