The Siemens SIRIUS 3UG4632-1AA30 is a voltage monitoring relay with digital setting — it watches a single-phase AC or DC supply and trips a relay contact when the voltage goes above or below the set thresholds. It measures from 10 V to 600 V AC/DC, so it covers standard control voltages (24 V, 48 V, 110 V, 230 V) and many machine-level supplies without needing a separate PT. The relay output is rated 1 A at 24 V, 0.2 A at 125 V, and 0.1 A at 250 V — enough to signal a PLC input or drop out a contactor coil, but not to switch a motor directly.
Setting up and mounting
Mounting position any, so it works upright, sideways, or upside-down in a crowded cabinet. The LCD display shows the measured voltage and the setpoint values; adjustment is via digital setting, not trim pots, so repeatability is tighter — relative repeat accuracy is 1 %. Terminals accept 2 x (20–14 AWG) solid or stranded — standard for a 22.5 mm relay.
The rated supply voltage is 24 V AC/DC (50/60 Hz) — that is what powers the relay's own electronics and display. The monitored voltage is separate and can be anywhere from 10 to 600 V AC/DC. Overvoltage and undervoltage detection are both built in; the trip thresholds are set digitally as a percentage of the full-scale value (adjustable 0.85 to 1.15 times the rated value). Auto-reset and external reset are both available — auto-reset means the relay re-energizes once the voltage returns within band, useful for nuisance trips on a fluctuating line. IP20 protection means it is safe from finger contact but not from dust or moisture — install inside a panel with at least IP54 enclosure.
