The Siemens 3UG5616-1CR20 is a digitally adjustable monitoring relay from the Line monitoring family, designed to keep a close eye on three-phase mains quality. It watches for phase failure, wrong phase sequence, asymmetry, frequency drift, and over- or undervoltage conditions on a 3x 90-690 V AC supply running between 15 and 70 Hz. Two changeover contacts give you the switching outputs, and the screw terminals make for a solid, vibration-resistant connection out here in the plant.
The wide voltage range — 90 to 690 V AC — means this relay can sit on anything from a 110 V control transformer up to a 690 V motor feeder without needing a separate PT. That 2-changeover contact arrangement gives you one set for alarm and one for trip, or you can wire them in series for a redundant safety path.
