What It Is and What It Does
The Siemens 3UG5642-2CW30 digital monitoring relay tracks current, active current, voltage, power factor, and power. It handles line voltages up to 690 V AC/DC and direct connection up to 10 A. Both ON-delay and trip-delay are adjustable from 0.1 to 999.9 seconds, which gives you enough range to ride through motor inrush without nuisance tripping, yet still catch a genuine undercurrent or phase loss. The two changeover contacts (spring-loaded terminals) handle the signaling or direct switching of smaller loads.
