What it does and where it fits
The Siemens 3UG5651-2CW30 is a digital monitoring relay for speed monitoring, covering 0.1 to 6000 r/min with both overshoot and undershoot detection. It runs on a universal supply of 24 to 240 V AC/DC (50/60 Hz), so it works across control voltages without a separate power module—handy when you're pulling from whatever's on the panel bus. The ON delay and tripping delay are adjustable from 0.1 to 999.9 s, which means you can filter out start-up transients or brief load dips without false trips. Outputs are two changeover contacts with spring-loaded terminals—no screwdriver needed for wiring, just strip and push.
Lifecycle and compliance
RoHS compliant since June 2023, and REACH Article 33 applies due to lead content above 0.1% w/w (CAS 7439-92-1). Export control is AL: N / ECCN: N, so no special licensing for most shipments.
