MCCB for Line Protection — 100 A, 3-Pole, High Interrupting Capacity
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1010-2ED36-0HC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for a continuous current of 100 A at 40 °C, with the TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release providing line protection. It carries a 52.5 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V and 32 kA at 415 V, which means it can safely clear high fault currents in a distribution panel without upstream coordination issues.
Above that, it derates linearly: 96 A at 55 °C, 94 A at 60 °C, 92 A at 65 °C, and 90 A at 70 °C.
Integrated Auxiliary and Shunt Trip
No undervoltage release, no ground fault monitoring, and no communication module on this build.
The 76.2 mm width (roughly 3 inches) is a common MCCB pitch — it will drop into a panel designed for a 3-pole SENTRON frame without re-drilling. Verify the depth clearance: 70 mm plus wiring space for the line and load lugs.
