The Siemens 3VA1010-3ED32-0CC0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It's rated 100 A continuous at 40 °C ambient, holds that rating through 50 °C, then derates to 98 A at 55 °C, 96 A at 60 °C, 94 A at 65 °C, and 91 A at 70 °C — useful if this breaker lands in a warm enclosure or near other heat sources. Three-pole construction, 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall. The 800 V rated insulation voltage gives headroom for 690 V line-to-line systems. Interrupting capacity runs 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V — check your available fault current at the point of installation against the applicable voltage column. This MCCB includes an undervoltage release (UVR) as the auxiliary release, plus two auxiliary switches HQ. No ground-fault monitoring, no communication function, no trip indicator. Power loss at rated load is 27.5 W maximum — factor that into enclosure thermal calculations if you're packing several breakers in one panel.
Panel fit and integration
Mounts on a DIN rail or can be screw-mounted in a panel. The 70 mm depth is relatively shallow for a 100 A MCCB — helps when back-panel clearance is tight. The undervoltage release trips the breaker when control voltage drops below the dropout threshold; wire it through an E-stop or safety relay for coordinated shutdown.
