Rated current holds at 20 A from 40 °C through 55 °C, then derates to 19 A at 60 °C and 65 °C, and 19 A at 70 °C — so in a warm enclosure you lose one amp, not a full trip curve shift. The 70 mm depth and 76.2 mm width (2.76 in × 3 in) are standard SENTRON 3VA footprint dimensions, so it drops into existing panel cutouts and busbar arrangements without re-drilling.
What the interrupting ratings actually cover
Interrupting capacity drops as voltage rises: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. Power loss is 14.5 W maximum at rated load — negligible for panel heat budget but worth knowing if you pack breakers tight.
That means you get both a normally-open/normally-closed mirror contact for status feedback and a separate alarm contact that only closes on a trip event — no need to add a separate accessory block for basic remote signaling. The auxiliary release is the undervoltage release, wired separately to a control voltage source. Communication function is not built in, so if you need remote monitoring beyond dry contacts, you'll add a separate communication module.
