The 25 A rating holds across 40 °C to 50 °C ambient (–), then derates to 24 A at 55–60 °C and 23 A at 65–70 °C (–). In a 40 °C panel, you get full 25 A continuous; above that, the thermal curve shifts. At 690 V the breaker still clears 7.5 kA, which covers most motor-circuit fault levels.
The 76.2 mm width (3 in) matches the 3VA family modular pitch — three 25.4 mm modules. The 70 mm depth (2.76 in) leaves room for rear-connected busbars or cable lugs without crowding the back of the enclosure. The auxiliary switch bay accepts up to 4 HQ-style auxiliary switches, configurable for status indication or remote trip signalling.
