MCCB for line protection — 25 A frame, high breaking capacity
It carries a 25 A rating at 40 °C and delivers a breaking capacity of 52.5 kA at 240 V, stepping down to 32 kA at 415 V and 13.6 kA at 440 V — enough for most industrial feeder and subfeeder applications where fault currents are high.
The maximum power loss is 11 W — modest for a 25 A frame, so ventilation in a standard IP4X enclosure is sufficient. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, and the operating range spans -25 °C to +70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to +80 °C.
Breaking capacity varies with system voltage: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. For a 415 V distribution board with a prospective fault current of 25 kA, this breaker provides adequate headroom. At 690 V the 7.5 kA rating limits it to lower-fault installations.
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, 70 mm depth — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for DIN-rail or screw-mount panels. The supplied basic switch is 3VA10252ED320AA0; the breaker ships with the undervoltage release and auxiliary switches pre-installed, so no field assembly of accessories is needed.
