What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA1025-3ED32-0DC0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It is rated 25 A at 40 °C and delivers a breaking capacity of 75.6 kA at 240 V, which means it can safely interrupt fault currents up to that level without upstream damage. The 3-pole construction fits standard DIN-rail mounting in a 76.2 mm wide footprint.
Ratings that matter for fit
Rated current holds at 25 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then derates to 24 A at 55–60 °C and 23 A at 65–70 °C — so in a warm panel you lose about 2 A of headroom. Breaking capacity steps down with voltage: 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 500/690 V. That 7.5 kA at 690 V is the limiting figure for 690 V line-side faults.
Built-in auxiliary and release options
This MCCB ships with two auxiliary switches (HQ type) and an undervoltage release (UVR) fitted. The UVR trips the breaker when control voltage drops, which is standard for emergency-stop or undervoltage protection schemes. No communication module or ground-fault monitoring is included — this is a plain line-protection device.
