The Siemens 3VA1025-3ED32-0KA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) sized for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a 25 A rated current at 40 °C, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release and an integrated shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release for remote tripping. Breaking capacity hits 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, stepping down to 52.5 kA at 415 V and 32 kA at 440 V — enough for most industrial fault-current scenarios on a 25 A feeder. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, so it comfortably handles 480/600 V class systems.
Panel fit and integration
Three-pole frame, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep. Mounts on a DIN rail or direct panel; the 70 mm depth keeps it clear of the gland plate on standard 200 mm deep enclosures. Power loss is 8.5 W maximum — negligible for thermal budgeting in a multi-breaker panel. No communication module, no ground-fault monitoring, no undervoltage release on this variant. The shunt trip (STL) is the only auxiliary release; if you need UVR or a separate alarm contact, order a different suffix.
Thermal derating and ambient limits
Rated current holds at 25 A from 40 °C through 50 °C ambient. At 55 °C it derates to 24 A, and at 70 °C to 23 A. Operating range is -25 °C to +70 °C; storage range extends from -40 °C to +80 °C.
