What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1025-4ED32-0AC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 25 A continuous current (Iu) with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Its breaking capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V AC, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 690 V — numbers that tell you this unit handles high-fault-current industrial distribution panels, not just branch circuits. The TM210 release means the thermal element is fixed at 25 A (no field adjustment), while the magnetic trip is set at 10× In, so it clears bolted faults fast without nuisance tripping on motor inrush. Two HQ auxiliary switches are built in for status feedback to a PLC or annunciator panel. The 70 mm depth and 76.2 mm width (standard 3-pole MCCB footprint) let it drop into existing SENTRON or third-party panelboards without re-drilling the mounting plate. Front IP40 protection keeps out tool drops and dust during installation; the enclosure is rated for operation from -25 °C to 70 °C and storage from -40 °C to 80 °C, covering most indoor industrial environments.
Current derating across temperature
This breaker holds its full 25 A rating from 40 °C through 50 °C ambient. At 55 °C it derates to 24 A, at 60 °C to 23.5 A, at 65 °C to 23 A, and at 70 °C to 22.5 A. If the panel sits near a heat source or in a non-ventilated enclosure, check the actual ambient at the breaker — a 25 A continuous load at 65 °C would need the next frame up.
