The interrupting capacity is 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V — these are the fault currents the breaker can safely clear at each voltage level, which determines whether it coordinates with the upstream transformer or generator fault rating. The thermal-magnetic release is a TM210 type, meaning the thermal element is fixed at 32 A and the magnetic pickup is adjustable across a 5–10x In range, so for a 32 A breaker the instantaneous trip point can be set between 160 A and 320 A. That adjustability lets you tune for motor inrush or transformer magnetizing current without oversizing the breaker.
Temperature derating — the real-world current capability
Above that, the breaker derates per the thermal curve: 30.72 A at 55 °C, 30.08 A at 60 °C, 29.44 A at 65 °C, and 28.8 A at 70 °C.
The trip indicator is visible through the front cover, so a quick visual scan of the panel tells you which breaker has tripped without opening the door.
