Breaking capacity — what it means on your panel
At 240 V it interrupts 52.5 kA; at 415 V that drops to 32 kA, at 440 V to 13.6 kA, and at 690 V to 7.5 kA. The 52.5 kA figure at 240 V tells you this MCCB handles high available fault current at common low-voltage distribution levels — typical for a service entrance or a main feeder breaker in a 240/120 V panel where the transformer can push serious current into a bolted fault. At 415 V the 32 kA rating still covers most industrial MCCB applications; only high-fault installations (large transformers close to the board) might need a higher-rated frame.
Temperature derating — don't size by the 32 A label alone
Above that it derates: 30.72 A at 55 °C, 30.08 A at 60 °C, 29.44 A at 65 °C, and 28.8 A at 70 °C.

This is a straightforward line-protection breaker; if you need those extras, this is not the variant.
