Thermal derating and panel fit
The 3VA1032-2ED36-0CA0: The 32 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C, then steps down to 31 A at 55–60 °C and 30 A at 65–70 °C — no surprise derate curve for a 3VA frame. Dimensions are 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep, so it lands in the standard SENTRON 3VA panel footprint; the 3-pole width matches existing DIN-rail or screw-mount layouts without re-drilling gland plates.
Breaking capacity by voltage
The interrupting ratings are voltage-dependent: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That 7.5 kA at 690 V is the floor — it's the same figure as at 500 V, so the breaker doesn't drop further above that point. The insulation voltage is rated 800 V, giving headroom for 690 V line-to-line systems.
