The Siemens 3VA1032-2ED36-0KA0 is a SENTRON 3VA1 molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) built for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a 32 A continuous rating at 40 °C across all three poles, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic release and an integrated shunt trip (STL) for remote or emergency-off tripping.
Breaking capacity and selectivity
Rated short-circuit breaking capacity hits 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, and still holds 7.5 kA up to 690 V — enough for most industrial mains fault levels. The 800 V rated insulation voltage keeps it comfortable in 400/480 V panels with headroom for voltage sags. At 70 °C ambient the breaker still carries 30 A without derating below the nameplate; power loss maxes out at 10.6 W, which is modest for a 3-pole MCCB and won't cook adjacent devices in a tightly packed enclosure.
Dimensions and panel fit
Footprint is 76.2 mm wide (3 in), 130 mm tall (5.12 in), and 70 mm deep (2.76 in) — standard 3-pole MCCB form factor for DIN-rail or screw-mount panel layouts. The shunt trip adds no extra width; it's contained within the breaker body.
Compared to the larger-frame 3VA1110-5EF32-0LA0, this 3VA1032 is a physically smaller, lower-AIC device. The 3VA1110 frame offers higher interrupting capacities and a broader amp range, but the 3VA1032 fits tighter panel budgets where 32 A and 32 kA at 415 V are sufficient.
