The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1032-3ED36-0JC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection. It carries a continuous current Iu of 32 A at 40 °C, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Breaking capacity hits 75.6 kA at 240 V and 52.5 kA at 415 V — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries without cascading upstream.
Breaking capacity and thermal derating
At 440 V the interrupting rating drops to 32 kA, and at 690 V it's 7.5 kA — a steep fall that matters if you're feeding a 690 V drive bank. The TM210 holds full 32 A up to 50 °C; above that it derates to 30.72 A at 55 °C and 28.8 A at 70 °C. Panel builders should account for the 70 mm depth and 76.2 mm width when laying out DIN-rail or mounting-plate positions — it fits a standard SENTRON 3VA footprint, so a panel kitted for a 3VA1010 will accept this one without re-drilling.
Auxiliaries and accessories
This MCCB ships with two HQ auxiliary switches and a shunt trip (STL) release — the shunt trip order code is 3VA9688-0BL32. No undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module. The front panel carries IP40 protection; the rest of the enclosure is unrated, so mount it inside a cabinet for washdown or outdoor environments.
