The interrupting ratings are the main selection gate: 121 kA at 240 V AC, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That means this breaker can handle high available fault currents at the lower distribution voltages common in North American (240 V) and European (400 V class) systems, but the 11.9 kA ceiling at 500/690 V limits its use on 690 V industrial grids unless the prospective short-circuit current is known to be below that level.
Thermal derating and panel space
At 55 °C it derates to 31 A, at 65 °C to 30 A, and at 70 °C to 30 A. The footprint is 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB width that matches the SENTRON 3VA mounting grid. Maximum power loss is 10.6 W, which is modest for a 32 A frame; it won't drive much internal temperature rise in a ventilated panel.
