The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1032-4ED32-0AF0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying 32 A continuously at 40 °C ambient without derating. Its TM210 thermal-magnetic release handles overload and short-circuit trip curves, and the breaker holds a 121 kA interrupting rating at 240 V — enough for high-fault utility feeds in industrial distribution panels.
Interrupting capacity drops as system voltage rises: 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at both 500 V and 690 V. That 11.9 kA at 690 V is the floor — still adequate for most 690 V motor control centers, but verify against the available fault current at the panelboard.
Thermal performance and panel fit
Rated current holds flat at 32 A from 40 °C through 50 °C, then steps down to 31 A at 55 °C and 60 °C, and 30 A at 65 °C and 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 10.6 W. Dimensions are 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep — fits standard 3-pole MCCB panel cutouts with no special adapter.
Auxiliary switching and environmental range
Operating temperature spans -25 °C to 70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C.
