The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1040-4ED32-0DH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated 40 A continuous at 40 °C, with a 121 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V — that's the number that governs fault-clearing on a 240 V line side. At 415 V it still breaks 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it holds 11.9 kA, so the SCCR headroom is there for most industrial panel feeds.
The 40 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C, then derates to 36 A at 70 °C (–). That means in a crowded enclosure running hot, you still get 36 A continuous without nuisance tripping — useful for a pump or conveyor motor branch.
