The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1050-2ED36-0BC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 50 A continuous current (Iu) with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. It ships with 2 auxiliary switches (HQ version) and an integrated undervoltage release (UVR) — the auxiliary trip module is order code 3VA9608-0BB11, already fitted. No communication module, no voltage trigger, no ground-fault monitoring on this variant. Front protection is IP40; the unit is sized for DIN-rail or panel-mount integration at 70 mm deep, 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall.
Interrupting capacity and thermal derating
Interrupting capacity is 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V — these are the maximum fault currents the breaker can safely clear at each voltage level. The TM210 release holds 50 A continuous up to 50 °C ambient; above that it derates to 48 A at 55 °C, 47 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V. Latching endurance is rated at 15,000 operations.
