Integrator's note on the 3VA1050-2ED36-0CC0
The 50 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C, then derates to 48 A at 55 °C, 47 A at 60 °C, 46 A at 65 °C, and 45 A at 70 °C. If the panel ambient runs above 50 °C, the continuous current drops — size your load accordingly. The insulation voltage (Ui) is 800 V, which covers most industrial distribution voltages including 690 V systems.
Panel fit and auxiliary wiring
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. The 76.2 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for this SENTRON generation — it fits existing panel cutouts and busbar spacing designed for 3VA or earlier 3VL frames. Front IP40 protection means it's fine inside a closed panel; no washdown rating on the front face. Factory-fitted with 2 auxiliary switches (HQ type) and an undervoltage release (UVR). The auxiliary switches give you two independent signal paths for status feedback to a PLC or indication lamp. The UVR drops the breaker when control voltage falls below the dropout threshold — common in emergency-stop circuits or undervoltage protection schemes. The integrated auxiliary trip is order code 3VA9608-0BB24; if that specific trip unit is needed, note it separately on the BOM.
What the TM210 release means for coordination
The TM210 is a thermal-magnetic release with fixed settings. The 15,000 latching endurance cycles give a baseline for mechanical life.
