The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1050-2ED36-0KC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) for line protection. It carries 50 A at 40 °C, derating to 45 A at 70 °C. Breaking capacity is the headline: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, and still 7.5 kA at 690 V. That 32 kA at 415 V means it handles high-fault industrial mains without cascading upstream — a common requirement for main feeders in IEC 60947-2 installations. The 690 V rating is enough for most 600 V class North American panels.
