What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1050-3ED32-0JH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 50 A continuous current. That 50 A holds flat from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then derates gradually to 45 A at 70 °C — useful if it lands in a warm panel next to drives or transformers. The TM210 thermal-magnetic release handles overload and short-circuit protection with fixed thermal and magnetic settings; no field adjustment, which keeps the install simple and the spec traceable. Breaking capacity is 75.6 kA at 240 V, 52.5 kA at 415 V, 32 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V. That 75.6 kA at 240 V covers high-fault industrial panels; the 52.5 kA at 415 V handles most European distribution boards. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, so it's comfortable in 690 V line-to-line systems with margin.
Integrated accessories and panel fit
This breaker ships with a factory-fitted shunt trip (STL) release and an auxiliary contact block carrying two auxiliary switches plus one trip alarm switch (HQ configuration). The shunt trip lets you remotely trip the breaker from a PLC or emergency-stop circuit — no need to add it later. The auxiliary contacts give status feedback: open/closed and tripped. The internal auxiliary trip is order code 3VA9688-0BL32. Footprint is 76.2 mm wide, 130 mm tall, 70 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB envelope. Front IP40 means it's splash-safe in a closed panel but not washdown-rated. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
