MCCB for line protection with shunt trip
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1063-2ED36-0HA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a 63 A rating at 40 °C and a rated insulation voltage of 800 V, with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release and an integrated shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release for remote tripping. Breaking capacity reaches 52.5 kA at 240 V AC and 32 kA at 415 V AC, giving it solid fault-interruption headroom for industrial main or subfeed applications where high available fault current is expected.
Thermal derating and operating range
The breaker holds its full 63 A rating up to 50 °C, then derates gradually to 58 A at 70 °C. Operating ambient range is -25 °C to +70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to +80 °C. Maximum power loss is 17.3 W.
Integration and physical fit
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, 70 mm depth. The 3-pole footprint fits standard panel-mount cutouts for SENTRON 3VA breakers. No communication function or undervoltage release is included; the shunt trip is factory-fitted.
