Breaking capacity is where this thing earns its keep: 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at both 500 V and 690 V.
What's built in — auxiliary switches and shunt trip
The shunt trip lets a remote signal — from an E-stop, a safety relay, or a PLC — force the breaker open. The trip alarm switch changes state only when the breaker trips on fault, not on manual open, so a control system can tell the difference between a planned shutdown and a fault event. No undervoltage release on this unit, so if you need UVR for machine safety, this isn't the variant.
Lifecycle status is current — Siemens still builds this variant, so it's not a scavenger-hunt part. No EOL notice, no last-time-buy clock. That means you can spec it into a new panel design without worrying about a forced redesign next year.
