What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA1063-2ED42-0CC0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) sized for line protection in distribution panels. Its 63 A rated continuous current (Iu) holds at ambient temperatures up to 50 °C without derating, then steps down to 60.48 A at 55 °C and 56.7 A at 70 °C — a thermal curve you can use directly for panel sizing.
Breaking capacity and coordination
Four-pole construction with a TM210 thermal-magnetic overcurrent release. Breaking capacity runs 52.5 kA at 240 V, 32 kA at 415 V, 13.6 kA at 440 V, and 7.5 kA at 690 V. That spread covers most low-voltage distribution scenarios — the 415 V figure is the one to check for standard three-phase panels. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V.
Panel fit and auxiliary integration
Dimensions: 70 mm deep, 101.6 mm wide, 130 mm high. Front protection IP40 — suitable for enclosed panel mounting where the front face is behind a door. The TM210 release is fixed-trip thermal-magnetic; no communication function or phase-failure detection on this variant.
