63 A SENTRON MCCB with undervoltage release — line protection duty
The Siemens 3VA1063-3ED32-0DA0 is a SENTRON 3VA1 molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current (Iu) at 40 °C, in a 3-pole configuration, designated for line protection. Breaking capacity is specified at four voltage levels: 75.6 kA at 240 V AC, 52.5 kA at 415 V AC, 32 kA at 440 V AC, and 7.5 kA at 690 V AC. The breaker has no auxiliary contact, no voltage trigger, and no ground-fault monitoring version fitted. It is a straightforward line-protection device for distribution panels where a simple thermal-magnetic curve and undervoltage protection are sufficient.
Above that, derating applies: 60.48 A at 55 °C, 59.22 A at 60 °C, 57.96 A at 65 °C, and 56.7 A at 70 °C.
Mechanical integration and approvals
Dimensions are 130 mm height, 76.2 mm width, and 70 mm depth — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for DIN-rail or panel-mount installation in distribution boards. The manufacturer's brand is SENTRON, part of the Siemens 3VA1 series.
