What this MCCB delivers
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1063-3ED42-0HA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying 63 A continuously at 40 °C ambient and derating to 58 A at 70 °C. Its breaking capacity reaches 75.6 kA at 240 V AC and remains 52.5 kA at 415 V, dropping to 7.5 kA at 690 V — covering most industrial distribution panels and motor branch circuits up to 800 V rated insulation voltage. The unit includes a shunt trip release (STL) for remote tripping, but no undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, and no communication function. The overcurrent release is a TM210 thermal-magnetic type, sized for fixed thermal and magnetic pickup — no interchangeable rating plugs.
Mounting and panel fit
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 101.6 mm wide, and 70 mm deep — a standard 4-pole MCCB footprint that fits most DIN-rail or base-mount panel layouts. Maximum power loss is 17.3 W, so ventilation in a sealed enclosure should account for that dissipation.
