Thermal derating — the real continuous current at your panel temp
This MCCB holds its full 63 A rating from 40 °C up to 50 °C ambient. At 55 °C it derates to 60.48 A, at 60 °C to 59.22 A, at 65 °C to 57.96 A, and at 70 °C to 56.7 A. If your panel runs hot — say a crowded enclosure near a furnace line — you need to size the breaker for the actual ambient, not the nameplate. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 800 V, and the operating range is -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
Physical fit and panel integration
The breaker measures 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, and 70 mm deep. It's a DIN-rail mount — snaps onto standard 35 mm rail. The front face carries IP40 protection, so it's fine for a clean indoor panel but not for washdown environments. The 3-pole footprint is standard for a 63 A MCCB; it occupies three module widths on the rail. The auxiliary contact version is 2 switches HQ, which plug into the front accessory slot.
