It ships as a line-protection device with an integrated undervoltage release (UVR) — the auxiliary trip coil is order code 3VA9608-0BB24, fitted at the factory. The kit is complete for a basic feeder breaker: breaker body, UVR coil, and the TM210 trip unit. What's not in the box is the auxiliary contact or any communication module — those are separate line items.
Breaking capacity — what it means for your panel
This MCCB delivers 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, 52.5 kA at 440 V, and 11.9 kA at 690 V. For a 415 V distribution board, 75.6 kA covers most industrial service-entrance and sub-feed applications.
Thermal derating — don't let the panel oven fool you
At 55 °C it derates to 60.48 A, at 60 °C to 59.22 A, at 65 °C to 57.96 A, and at 70 °C to 56.7 A. The TM210 release is adjustable, so you can set the thermal pickup to match the derated continuous current. The latching endurance is rated at 15,000 operations — that's the mechanical life for the switching mechanism, not the electrical endurance under load.
Panel fit and footprint
That's a compact 3-pole MCCB — fits standard DIN-rail or panel-mount cutouts for the 63 A frame class. The IP40 front protection means it's splash-resistant from the front but not sealed; mount inside a panel with at least IP54 enclosure for washdown areas.
