63 A MCCB with 121 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA1063-4ED32-0CH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current with a TM210 thermal-magnetic release. Its interrupting capacity hits 121 kA at 240 V, 75.6 kA at 415 V, and 52.5 kA at 440 V — numbers that tell you this breaker handles high-fault utility feeds or transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. At 690 V it still clears 11.9 kA, which matters for 690 V drives or mining gear. The TM210 release is a fixed thermal-magnetic type — no interchangeable trip units, so the 63 A rating is baked in. That simplifies spares planning: one order code, one amp rating, no risk of a swapped trip unit mis-match. The breaker includes an undervoltage release (UVR) as standard, plus 2 auxiliary switches and 1 trip alarm switch (HQ version) for remote status indication.
Thermal derating and panel fit
The 63 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C. Above that it derates: 60.48 A at 55 °C, 59.22 A at 60 °C, 57.96 A at 65 °C, and 56.7 A at 70 °C. If your panel ambient runs hot — say inside a non-ventilated enclosure near drives — factor that derating into the load calculation. The breaker itself operates from -25 °C to 70 °C and stores from -40 °C to 80 °C. Physical footprint: 130 mm high, 76.2 mm wide, 70 mm deep. IP40 on the front face.
